Dental hygiene and tooth whitening
Hydrogen peroxide is used in dental care in toothpastes and mouthwashes for disinfection and plaque removal. In higher concentrations, it serves as a bleaching agent that whitens teeth by penetrating the surface and removing discoloration that can be caused by food, drinks, or tobacco.
Hair care, hair coloring and hair bleaching
Hydrogen peroxide is used as an oxidizing and bleaching agent in hair coloring and hair lightening. The natural pigments are dissolved and color pigments are introduced into the hair structure, so that the hair absorbs the color of the colorant. The desired color result depends on the particular concentration of the H2O2 solution.
